Easy to use

Detector arrived quickly. Assembled it easily in a field on a truck tailgate. A couple of minutes later had located a buried metal stake in long field grass. Seems like a good product.

Love the metal detector

Love the metal detector. Works great. Didn't like that I ordered for my husband for Christmas and it did not come in a regular shipping box. I was at work and he was at home when delivered. So the box said what it was all over it.

It works better than thought.

I received this detector yesterday, and without using the manual, was able to put it together without any problems. I've had other detectors, a couple worth more than this KingDetector, but this King...is just that for the price...KING. This detector sounded off when sweeping the yard, found and old penny about 3 inches in the ground. For the price of this detector, you can't go wrong.
Kind of on the cheaply made side, but does detect metals down in the ground of up to 4 - 5 inches. It's worth the 50ish dollars.

But it looks very nice. I'm sure he will like it
